The "H2HET - model project for a thermal-electric integrated system" project is to be funded with a grant of 193,500 euros. This is a project of Stadtwerke Hettstedt GmbH in the federal STARK program. The Minister President emphasized: "We want to shape structural change together and successfully. The municipal utilities' project combines the use of local resources from the traditional cultural landscape shaped by copper mining with the ecological and economic innovation potential of a modern energy supply. It can sustainably support the development of the town of Hettstedt and the district of Mansfeld-Südharz into a model region for the use of geothermal energy and make the change visible."
